International Graphite (ASX:IG6) is rapidly developing as a global mine-to-market supplier and one of the first Australian companies manufacturing midstream graphite products for growing industrial and battery markets.
IG6 is working to build an integrated network of production facilities in low-risk, high value locations with an emphasis on low initial capital cost, fast-to-market revenue and staged expansion. Production facilities in Western Australia and Germany are on the drawing board and are expected to be operational in 2027 with a third facility being scoped in the US. This network will produce an extensive range of processed graphite products in a production flow designed to extract full value from the graphite resource.
Our growth strategy is founded on three pillars:
- An industrial graphite manufacturing business in operation by 2026–2027
- A globally significant graphite mine at Springdale, in Western Australia, providing decades of secure, low-risk supply
- Downstream battery anode production, aligned with global decarbonisation and energy transition priorities
With proven processing technologies and strong support from government and market leading partners, IG6 is uniquely positioned to develop a mine-to-market graphite supply chain in a trusted jurisdiction.
