Sky Metals is advancing toward low-cost tin production to meet the accelerating global demand for tin—an essential metal in semiconductors, electronics, solar PV, and electric vehicles. With supply disruptions and few reliable, ethical sources of tin, SKY offers a rare ASX-listed opportunity to gain exposure to this critical and increasingly strategic commodity.
SKY’s flagship Tallebung Tin Project in central western NSW is a near-term, open-pit development located at a historic tin field first discovered in the 1890s. The company is defining a large-scale hardrock resource, with recent drilling uncovering high-grade tin and silver zones and demonstrating exceptional metallurgical performance across the deposit. The shallow geometry and cassiterite-hosted mineralisation make Tallebung ideally suited to low-cost mining and processing, including advanced XRT ore sorting that upgrades tin grades by up to 44x, followed by gravity separation to produce a saleable concentrate.
Management Profile
